TripAdvisor just released their latest report Seasonal travel index series. There are some golden nuggets in there for travel trends, but the one topic that stood out was the hottest international destinations for US travelers.
Common places like Los Cabos, Cancun and Paris grabbed attention, but one destination that is gaining popularity is the beautiful city Florence.
According to TripAdvisor data, it is one top 10 international destinations for US tourists this year. One of the more popular European getaways for Americans is the amazing country of Italy.
Yet, more often than not, we hear about Rome, Venice, perhaps Milan, and the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
Florence, or as the locals call Firenze, is not at the top of the list when booking a vacation in Italy. That has changed this year, and rightly so.
