It’s raining cats and dogs right now, but water droplets aren’t the only things raining on the streets of Lasgidi. There’s also a flood of cool fashion shots. Recently, fashionable Nigerian ladies paraded in their beautiful ensembles, ticking all the right boxes and reminding us why the Nigerian fashion scene never fails.

#1. Bomb in shine
Blood Sisters star, Ini Dima-Okojie was on the gram with a Derin Fabikun forest green number with a glossy leaf bodice. The sleeves stayed higher than her shoulders and the rest of the number clung to her like a second skin before falling to the floor. Aside from the outfit, it was striking how well the green dress matched her mocha brown skin – like a forest on earth. The beautiful actress styled her hair in a sleek, dropped bun and opted for statement earrings, minimalist rings and black heels to complete the look.

For the PatBo New York Fashion Week show, actress Temi Otedola wore a glittering dress with a teardrop cutout just below the v-neck. The dress also showed off ruffles on the shoulder and sleeves, adding to the glamour. To complete this look, Otedola opted for black heels, box braids, chunky gold earrings and of course a glass of red wine. How stylish.

Linda Osifo slipped into the perfect city girl outfit as spotted in Downtown Chicago. Advocating the quintessential Lagos casual fit, the actress wore a long-sleeved animal print blouse tucked into skinny black trousers. She completed the look with PVC pumps, a mini bag, Catseye sunglasses and the famous Black Girl cornrows. And as her caption emphasized, it is “same Lagos vibe, just a different location.”

Seasoned Nollywood Actress, Chika Ike is perhaps one of the Nigerian fashionable ladies who hold their own and make every day seem like a holiday. Last week in Lebanon, she wore a turquoise off-the-shoulder co-ord that delivered. The wide-leg trousers and long-sleeved off-the-shoulder blouse played between sexy and easy, making this look a practical option for a fun time out. She completed the offering with a heavily embellished Lady Dior handbag, multi-colored pumps, a lighter shade of turquoise earrings and an amazing facebeat that didn’t let up.

Regina Daniels provided a striking orange look that turned heads. The custom-made outfit, consisting of a mini dress and matching jacket, was refined down to the smallest detail. Daniels styled this look with gold strappy heels, a Valentino handbag, minimal gold jewelry, and straight, straight hair that hit all the right knots. The Florette trend is still at its peak, with floral appliqués on almost every garment – think small Florette embellishments on shoes or a statement feature on an ornate gown. This baby blue mini dress with a prominent blue-green flower was spotted on the actress Enado Odigie is an appropriate reference.
