Ash season is upon us and the crème de la crème of Hollywood, top models, high fashion designers, stylists and high-end style influencers are officially out. The front rows of the Fashion Week shows are bursting with well-dressed celebrities and catwalks with eclectic designs. From London Fashion Week to Milan Fashion Week, the best-dressed stars heralded the trends for the coming seasons.
The looks
Last week seasoned actress Angela Basset stepped onto the carpet in a timeless silver Dolce and Gabanna gown at the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation Gala. The pleated one-sleeve number matched the vibe of her Egyptian-inspired bangs and evoked a heritage-rich look that was complementary to her sophisticated personality.
Kerry Washington started the tour for her latest book, Thicker Than Water, and the only way to describe it is that her stylist is probably on steroids. From her preppy Thom Browne looks to clashing pattern combinations, every look was one hundred percent on point. One of our favorites was the green monochrome coordination with a pantsuit paired with a matching sweater and satin pumps. For an unexpected pop of color, she threw a white bag into the mix. White is hot this season; keep a white clutch in your corner, it never disappoints.
