Can you tell us something about the process?

If you are having a smoothing treatment for the first time, which one would you recommend?
There are many different types of treatments on the market. Some are very mild and only last 10 washes, such as Kerastase’s Discipline Smoothing Treatment. Some will reduce curl, others will simply reduce frizz. Contact your hairdresser to find the right treatment for you. How long does it take and what length of time would you recommend before your next session?
The treatment usually lasts 1 – 6 months. This depends on the treatment type chosen, how often you wash your hair and also the type of shampoo and styling products you use. A good sulfate-free shampoo is best. Specific shampoos and conditioners are supplied by each of the brands that promise to maintain the effects of your treatment for longer than using a typical supermarket shampoo.
What are your tips to make the treatment last longer?
Use the prescribed shampoo and conditioner and wash your hair 2 – 3 times a week instead of every day.
Top tip: To maintain the effects of the treatment, use a special shampoo that is sulphate-free, such as Nano Keratin and Inoar Brazilian Blow Dry products.
