Ashion month and its festivities are always a surreal experience. From the high spirits to the blistering numbers and new trend predictions for the coming seasons, it’s hard to shake the impact. Last week, as we witnessed the end of Beyoncé’s iconic Renaissance tour, events like Culture Con 2033, NYC Ballet and Paris Fashion Week kept the spirits high and the outfits on point.
The looks
It’s safe to say Taraji P. Henson took fashion month seriously. She was seen countless times earning her quota from the society by steadily handing out good looks on a silver platter. Last week she looked like a leading lady, fresh out of a Bond film, in a La Pointe dress with feather details at Paris Fashion Week. The cutout and high slit inject sass into the high-neck, long-sleeved number – a perfect balance.
Fine excellent wine is the only correct way to summarize Vanessa Williams’ sophisticated look at the ballet gala in NYC last week. The guest singer and former Miss America opted for a sleeveless Carolina Herrera number with silver accents on the boat neck. Her center ponytail gave her eyes a dignified moment of shine. A graceful red carpet look indeed.
It’s not every day Zendaya And Law Roach connect to make magic, but when they do, it’s a perfect fit. The duo was out for Paris Fashion Week and linked up with Louis Vuitton. The star girl wore a white custom LV dress to the brand’s show at PFW. With a statement center zip, chunky gold buckles and leather panels, this look is poised to make zip dresses a big hit this season. Without a doubt, Zendaya and her stylist can do no wrong.
