Dr. Martens and Nanamica have been working together for four years and this time they present Chelsea boots and their slip-on companion, the Louis. Highlighting the combination of style and functionality, the two silhouettes appear in black leather, ready to take casual everyday looks to the next level. To present a different perspective than their previous collaborations, the brands delved into Dr.’s archives for this latest project. Martens.
The collaboration replaces the previously used white stitching along the heel-loop with Nanamica’s navy blue color for an understated upgrade. The smoke-colored DMS sole completes the silky soft leather upper of the shoe. This collaboration comes less than a week after Dr. Martens unveiled its new 14XX project, a bold new incubator-style initiative that will see the label innovate and channel new philosophies and design principles.
The new collaboration between Nanamica and Dr. Martens debuted in Nanamica stores on Friday, October 20 and online. The prices of the Louis Slip-On Shoe and the Graeme Slip-On Boot are $150 USD and $180 USD respectively.
