What is PureMatch liquid concealer?

Find your perfect concealer shade match

With 16 shades available, it can be difficult to find the perfect color match! Here are some tips from our Global Makeup Artist and Educator, Nechelle Turner.

1. Use our simple “Match and More” speed matching chart to identify the depth of your skin tone.
• The categories are: Fair, Light, Light to Medium, Medium, Medium to Dark, Dark, Deep, Deeper.
• Please visit our product page for PureMatch and visit the ‘Match and More’ diagram with the different skin color categories.
2. Now that you’ve determined the depth of your skin tone, simply look at the hidden column of the chart. Each shade has an N for neutral or W for warm after the number, which describes the undertone. Choose the concealer shade that best suits the depth and undertone of your skin tone.
3. Ready to spruce up? Simply slide to the brightening column and choose your shade and undertone to find the perfect brightening concealer shade for you.
4. Do you want to define your facial features and contours with concealer? No problem! Suggested shades for defining and contouring are under the Define column.

How to apply PureMatch

Choose the PureMatch Liquid Concealer shade that best suits your skin tone to conceal imperfections, even out skin tone and mask discolorations. Use the tip of the applicator for targeted application, such as concealing blemishes or minor discolorations. For larger areas you want to conceal, lay the applicator flat and apply a swipe of product to the face. For a more precise application, use the Camouflage Brush to blend. To camouflage the whole thing, use the Blending/Contouring Brush to blend and camouflage.

To use our PureMatch Liquid Concealer as a highlighter, apply the illuminating shade to the inner corner of the eyes, on the top of the cheekbones, down the center of the forehead, down the center of the chin and along the bridge of your nose .

The key to using our PureMatch Liquid Concealer as a contour is to use a shade deeper than your skin tone to create and create definition. Apply this shade to the temples, on the sides of the nose, under the cheekbones and under the jawline. Then blend it out with a Blending/Contouring Brush.
