After weeks of rumors – and grainy paparazzi photos in the British tabloids – Suki Waterhouse has finally confirmed she is pregnant with her first child with Robert Pattison. But instead of opting for an Instagram post or a press statement to announce the news, she decided to do it on stage, during her performance at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City.
“I’m wearing something sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else going on,” she told the crowd as she opened a feather-trimmed coat to reveal her baby bump underneath in a glittery pink dress . “I’m not sure it works.”
A video of her cheerful comments quickly went viral on TikTok after a concertgoer posted the clip. A fan account then reposted it to X, the site formerly known as Twitter, where it received hundreds of thousands of views.
A source also said that Entertainment tonight that the couple expects. “Suki Waterhouse and Rob Pattinson are expecting their first child together. She is so happy, excited and grateful for this experience. Suki and Rob are adorable together,” they told the outlet.
In mid-October the Daisy Jones and the Six actor offered a glimpse of her changing figure at the GO Gala in Los Angeles.
Waterhouse and Pattinson were first linked in 2018 and have made only a handful of public appearances together since, including at the 2023 Met Gala. In February 2023, she spoke highly of their in a relationship with The Sunday times. “I’m shocked that I’ve been this happy with someone for almost five years,” she said. “We always have so much to say, and I think he’s hilarious.”
