Another week has passed. Time is fleeting, life just a series of fleeting moments, but luckily we have Instagram to capture the highlights as we head into the new year. Perhaps it is as a way to ward off existentialist musings that the stars are moving away – as they did this week, as usual, a constant amid the endless change.
This week seemed particularly glitzy. Dua Lipa showed off a sexy chainmail number, which she paired with chain-link earrings. Elsewhere, at the Los Angeles premiere of Everyone but you leading actress Sydney Sweeney was dripping with crystals in a custom Miu Miu dress. Across the pond, Alexa Chung sang her heart out in a sheer crystal-embroidered mini dress with tutu skirt by Simone Rocha, and Kiki Palmer added some sparkle in a black strapless sweetheart dress with XL earrings.
But it is winter after all and some internet users have bundled up in stylish knits. Elsa Hosk paired her oversized gray turtleneck with her socks (worn with Mary-Jane flats), allowing her red Birkin to serve as the only pop of color. Meanwhile, Tracee Ellis Ross cocooned herself in one of the most sought-after pieces of the season: Jonathan Anderson’s oversized Loewe sweater.
