When celebrities attend a basketball game, they tend to use their courtside seats to create a statement look — and that makes sense, since you never know when you’ll be panned on the Jumbotron. Beyoncé, Kaia Gerber, Adele: They’re all dressed to impress at a competition. The latest star to serve up an unforgettable fashion moment? Actor Timothée Chalamet, who attended the Los Angeles Clippers vs. New York Knicks game yesterday (the Clippers won). The Wonka star even slipped into an unexpected piece –a sweater full of books?-for the occasion.
Chalamet ditched the more conventional on-field attire, like a player’s jersey, and opted for a chunky crewneck adorned with rows and rows of books, almost like a portable bookshelf. Someone clearly enjoys a good read and wants to make it known! But when you think about it, the actor’s film choices thus far have indicated a deep-seated respect for literature; some of his biggest and best films were adapted from books, including Wonka, Call me by your name, Beautiful boy, Little womenAnd Dune.
