Congratulations are in order for Abby Champion and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Today the old couple announced their engagement via Instagram. They each shared a series of photos from their beach proposal. The first was a close-up of them embracing on the beach, with Champion’s engagement ring front and center. Another had them kiss in front of a heart of roses. A final, more informal photo showed them smiling in front of a cake that simply said, “Congratulations.”
“Forever and ever,” they captioned the post, accompanied by heart and ring emojis.
The two started dating in September 2015 and quickly became one of Hollywood’s most stylish young couples. In 2022, the model and actor posed together for the December issue of Fashion at the then new Lanserhof Sylt.

Along the way, Champion and Schwarzenegger have built independent careers. Champion remains a sought-after model in addition to her work Fashion, starred in advertising campaigns for Chanel, Calvin Klein and Miu Miu. Schwarzenegger, meanwhile, recently appeared in the critically acclaimed HBO Max miniseries The stairs.
Schwarzenegger has spoken publicly several times about his admiration for his fiancée. “I think the best thing about having her by my side is that she always supports me, wants the best for me and brings out the best in me,” he previously said. E! News. “I always say that in a relationship you have to be each other’s biggest cheerleader. Build each other up. And she does that for me.”
