aAfter a hiatus of over a decade, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’ is about to make its long-awaited return. Originally unveiled in 2013, this reissue marks the first comeback for this highly sought-after colorway. If, like most enthusiasts, you missed it at the time, you’re in luck.
Featuring a striking three-tone color scheme, the ‘Fear’ edition features a sleek black base, complemented by dark charcoal and light gray accents on the mudguard and toe.
This pair deviates from the typical all-leather construction seen in other AJ4 releases, like last year’s ‘Red Cement’, opting for a luxurious suede treatment. The abundance of suede even extends to the midsole, which is finished with a blacked-out aesthetic with a captivating paint splatter effect.
The “Fear” release was originally inspired by Jordan Brand’s 2008 “Be Legendary” ad campaign and was part of a trio with the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 5. Coincidentally, this year marks the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, making it an opportune time for its revival.
The Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’ is expected to hit shelves in late 2024 and will be available via Nikethe SNKRS appand selected retailers worldwide. While the retail price has yet to be confirmed, it is estimated to hover around $210.
