Last week there was a meeting of the best couture makers, where prestigious collections were shown on the catwalks. As expected, the front rows featured celebrities and style stars who stole the show in impeccable fits. Paris Fashion Week 2024 certainly lived up to its reputation, with unique flamboyance taking center stage. During PFW 2024, movie premieres and awards ceremonies took place at the same time to add variety and give celebrities extra reasons to be outdoors.
The looks
It should have been called Zendayas couture week while the star girl manages to make an entrance. One minute she’s retreating into her cocoon, and the next she’s in the scenes breaking necks and bursting our timelines with internet-breaking ensembles. At the Fendi couture SS24 show in Paris, the actress was spotted in a ripped number that showed off her frame. The burgundy number with a train suited her beautifully, while her baby bangs and Bulgari jewelry added to the look.
Tika Sumpter in minis this season was a feast for the eyes. The actress showed off her toned legs and wore an all-over butterfly outfit by Jean-Louis Sabaji at the premiere of The Underdoggs Movie. The look consisted of a figure-hugging mini dress and a matching blazer, accessorized with classic black pumps. Add to that her short, blunt bob haircut and red lipstick and you’ll understand why we couldn’t resist this look. It is indeed a curated collection of calm and fashion.
During PFW 2024, Jordyn Woods’ mission was to step on the neck and break it. On a serial killing spree, Woods has displayed everything from chic denim casuals to forest-chic blazer dresses and statement dresses in the City of Light. At the Zuhair Murad show, she dazzled in a black maxi blazer dress with silver embellishments on the hips and sleeve hems, complementing her dazzling earrings and bag – a very pretty one.
