Last month, the actor and beauty brand founder went shorter and showed off a lob while hosting events on the West Coast for the latest Rare Beauty collection. Tonight she attended the film premiere of Lola with a completely different hairstyle: shiny, full bangs over the forehead.

It’s probably that hairstylist Marissa Marino had a hand (literally) in Gomez’s transformation, which is reminiscent of the iconic bangs of Gomez’s good friend Taylor Swift… but also has a hint of that French girl je ne sais quoi Brigitte Bardot too. And combined with that striking red lip? Perfection.
2024 was a big bang year, and we’re only in February. During Couture Week, Zendaya arrived at the Schiaparelli show with an otherworldly look on edge. Julia Roberts also changed it up on the Jacquemus show, leaving her side-bang days behind her. Only time will tell who is next.
