When it comes to fashion, the New Year is a soothing medicine for sore eyes and a courageous boost for our wardrobe. Personally, my mood board is full of fantastic looks, and for once the challenge has become: “so many outfits, so few places to go.” How the tables can turn when celebrities choose to spend the entire awards season out. Grammy week was a serial slaughter event, with parties and galas in an excited mood. These joyous moments followed the iconic Paris Couture Week, when stars pitched tents at the polished sartorial camps. So far this season everyone has brought their A-game, and for that our weekend style remains grateful.
Check out the fun celeb outfits you can recreate this weekend…
#1. Tracee Ellis Ross
Some regions are currently experiencing a snowstorm and would appreciate a warm spell ensemble that doesn’t consume their fashion sense. Tracee Ellis Ross serves as inspiration for this cozy Fear of God faux fur dress and statement undone corset belt for the 15 Percent Pledge Gala, held in support of Black entrepreneurs. Wear this cute Mob Wife look to a playwrights show to turn heads.
#2. Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez was dressed in a Maison Valentino outfit for Paris Fashion Week that was hard to ignore. The look featured a turtleneck top, tucked into a yellow skirt with a high-low hem and finished with an oversized gray blazer. The boxy outfit was styled with blue shoes for even more color. Replicate this colorful outfit for a fashion show to emphasize your style sensibility.
#3. Yvonne Orji
Right now, sequins are the IT girls of fashion. They have crept into every style, regardless of the event. A sequin suit, dress, jumpsuit, skirt, handbag, you name it, it’s always a fashionable choice. Yvonne Orji made a case for this festive, everyday glow in an Ofuure sapphire set during the 15 Percent Pledge Gala. The fit consisted of a sturdy bralette, airy pants and a free-size jacket. A girls night out in the posh part of town would be an appropriate event to accentuate this look.
#4. Victoria Monet
The details of a look determine its basic or fantastic condition. Victoria Monet’s Jagne hooded dress and Defiance belt were a worthy pair for her appearance at the BMA Coalition charity event. The feminine touch this outfit brings is a solid ten over ten in the books. Wear this dress to a birthday party for a stylish body conversion, but leave out the details horrible.
#5. Halle Bailey
In style and stature, Halle Bailey continues to evolve into a beautiful woman who knows her worth. During the Grammy U masterclass, the star girl joined the conversation about new music creatives. And to offer this wisdom, she hasn’t pushed style to the background. Wearing a white sheer crop top with high-waisted wide-leg pants, she played with subtle details that made the fit standout. This cool look for an afternoon meet and greet is a great fashion tip for the weekend.
#6. Letoya Luckett
Draped in a beautiful white number by Rick Owen, Letoya Luckett attended the Black Music Collective event. The one-shouldered dress featured an overstuffed cape that ended in a train. Her blonde pixie stood out against chunky Schiaparelli earrings for a vintage feel to the contemporary ensemble. This is an ethereal choice for a red carpet affair.
#7. Coco Jones
A nice celeb outfit is often welcomed with open arms, and so is this one Coco Jones passed the atmosphere check. Jones wore Moschino to the Spotify Grammys Best New Artist LA Party. The outfit consisted of a crocheted skirt with a high slit and a black corset top with see-through details. This funky skirt and flowing top are a suitable ally for a vodka launch party.
#8. Tia Mowry
An effortless slip dress and blazer are a perfect combination that is suitable for different occasions. The styling possibilities are endless. For an understated offering, consider simple accessories such as Tia Mowry at the Genius: MLK/X premiere. You can recreate this offering for your romantic night out on Valentine’s Day.
#9. Oprah Winfrey
From Oprah Winfrey Weight loss may have caused a stir, but there’s no denying that the mogul is loving her new look. She didn’t hesitate to step on the neck at the 2024 Grammys in a vintage black glitter Maison Valentino outfit in honor of her friend Tina Turner. The all-black look took advantage of its shiny properties to form yet another fun celeb outfit fit for an Art x Music show this weekend.
#10. Taraji P. Henson
The hosiery trend is in full swing, sparking the interest of many fashionistas. Whether it’s a tulle midi dress or distressed denim, there’s always a place to tuck stockings. This time, Taraji P. Henson wore a tweed crop jacket over black jeans, stockings and shiny pumps adding to the impressive array of ways to hop on the trend. The actress added braided bangs for a quirky appeal. If you have a casual book reading date this weekend, opt for this youthful outing.
