These are the six American states with the most hidden gems to visit now:

6. Maine

The state with the 6e highest number of hidden gems is Maine.

Tourists visit Maine for its outdoor activities and as much as 90% of the state is covered in trees.

Maine also boasts 2,200 miles of coastline, which attracts rafters and water sports enthusiasts, and some of the most popular attractions in the state include Acadia National Park and the Portland Museum of Art.

Some of the best hidden gem attractions in the state include the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and the Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse. Outdoor activities dominate here and it is a perfect destination for outdoorsmen and adventure lovers.

5.Utah

Utah is the US state with the 5th highest number of hidden gems. 219 of the state’s 4,126 attractions are considered hidden gems.

Some of the best hidden gem attractions in Utah include Capitol Reef National Park or Escalante Petrified Forest State Park.

Utah is best known for its incredible scenic views and wide range of beautiful national parks. With its high desert mountains and steep canyons, you’re sure to fall in love with the hidden gems of this red rock state.

4. Hawaii

It’s impossible to believe that Hawaii has any hidden gems considering the sheer number of tourists that visit the state every year. But despite this, there are plenty of lesser-known attractions to enjoy and explore.

According to the report, there are 418 hidden gem attractions in Hawaii.

Of course, Hawaii is best known for its exceptional natural beauty and beautiful beaches. Active volcanoes, soaring mountain peaks, an incredible array of wildlife and white-sand beaches all draw travelers to Hawaii.

If you want to get off the beaten path, some of the state’s top hidden gem attractions include the Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, Likeke Falls, and the Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve and Garden.

3.Wyoming

Some of Wyoming’s most famous attractions include the famous Yellowstone National Park, the beautiful hot springs, and the state’s diverse array of wildlife.

But in addition to these obvious attractions, there are also a whopping 120 attractions in Wyoming that are considered hidden gems.

Colorado is officially the American state with the highest number of hidden gems. According to recent research, a whopping 10.51% of the state’s attractions are classified as hidden gems.

There are many wonderful attractions for both national and international visitors, and 996 of them are considered hidden gems. One of the best of these is the Garden Of The Gods.

This is a huge park in Colorado Springs and features some of the best rock climbing and hiking trails in the state.

If you’re looking for something a little more mainstream, Colorado’s mix of cities, mountains and valleys makes it well worth a visit. Some of the biggest attractions are the Rocky Mountains National Park and the Denver Botanic Garden.
