When it comes to setting trends and being iconic, Paris Hilton is no stranger. After decades in the spotlight, her sense of fashion is all too familiar. From her pink velvet tracksuits of the early 2000s to her evolved pink fits of recent years, the style star has proven to be a mainstay in fashion conversations. Throughout her style evolution, Hilton’s love for sunglasses has been undeniable. It’s no surprise that she released the QUAY X PARIS sunglasses line in 2022 – a collaboration with the Australian sunglasses brand. Featuring 12 impressive designs, the sunglasses portray the Paris Hilton aesthetic we’ve come to know over the years, with bold and fantastic styles.
In addition to her fashion influence, Hilton is also a prolific entrepreneur, owner of several companies and brands. In our previous post discussing the announcement of her first child, we highlighted how Hilton documented her multi-day wedding celebration in 2022 with the reality show “Paris in Love.” On her websiteshe describes herself as “a pioneer in television, podcasting and NFTs and an innovator in business building, social media and celebrity branding.” In 2006, she founded her multi-billion dollar company, Paris Hilton Entertainment (now known as 11:11 Media), which has grown into “a full-stop, integrated media and product company with verticals across TV, podcasts, digital, licensing, NFTs, music, impact and more.”
Of course, not all of us have the privilege of being heirs to a global hotel and resort chain, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look at it. By simply emulating Paris Hilton’s eye for playful, girly fashion and her love of sunglasses, you’re sure to look good. Below, we share some tips on how to pull off Paris Hilton’s sunglasses looks without spending a lot of money.

#1. Think about glitter frames
One of the best ways to get Paris Hilton’s sunglasses look is to channel her more glittery side. Hilton is often seen in sparkling dresses paired with sunglasses that are just as sparkling. Nowadays, fashion brands like Gucci have a beautiful range of embellished sunglasses that are sure to impress. Paris herself has even been spotted in the Gucci GG0212S, a pair of semi-rimmed sunglasses covered in pearls. You can opt for other shades with pearls, gemstones or other sparkling materials to recreate Hilton’s look.
#2. Try heart-shaped sunglasses
Over the years, Paris has developed a collection of heart-shaped sunglasses. Paris’ heart-shaped frames range from Barbiecore pink options to chic white colorways. Fortunately, you don’t have to break the bank designer sunglasses to look. Many affordable eyewear brands have heart-shaped and love-inspired styles that are just right. For example, brands like Sun Amore offer heart-shaped black sunglasses with a rimless design that is definitely on trend. If you’re a fan of bolder silhouettes, you can also opt for the Priya heart sunglasses, which come in rose gold or glossy red temples.
#3. Prefer thick white sunglasses
Finally, you can opt for the classic, retro-inspired bold white shades. Today, many chunky white frames are inspired by cat eyes and oversized lenses from the 1960s. Paris has been seen wearing these on occasion – with some examples being more iconic and memorable than others.
In 2023, Paris revealed that she is a fan of her longtime boyfriend Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West. Hilton spotted the younger fashionista and “future entrepreneur” channeling Paris and Kim’s looks from Sydney airport in 2006. In the Instagram post, North was seen in a velor tracksuit and sunglasses, while her friend donned the cap from Paris wore a striped one shirt, and of course thick white sunglasses. The caption appropriately mentioned the real-life inspirations behind the looks, with the clip set to Kardashian’s 2011 song, “Jam (Turn It Up).”
In summary
To wrap up, you don’t have to spend a lot of money (or be a Hilton) to score Paris’ fashionable sunglasses looks. When in doubt, think back to her many paparazzi snaps and red carpet photos from the fabulous 2000s. Paris is known for rocking fashion trends on and off the red carpet, so put on your most stylish sweatsuit and pair it with some embellished shades or heart frames.
