The past week has been a wonderful moment for celebrities and their glam squad. With award ceremonies and premieres gracing the week, we saw a large turnout of couture and fresh from the ready-to-wear catwalk. In Los Angeles, the 30th annual star-studded SAG Awards called out celebrities and they responded in their best, while Zendaya and Law Roach kept fashion temperatures blazing in New York City with themed outfits for the Dune Part 2 premiere. Although spread across different locations, the common thread between these performances was the insatiable hunger for attractive fashion.

The looks

Zendaya wore a Stephane Rolland SS24 couture dress for another leg of the Dune Part 2 premiere, this time in New York City. The off-white number showed off a vertical cutout on the chest, which transitioned into a horizontal cutout around the navel and then separated into vertical lines on each hip. The hem was decorated with gold embellishments, which complemented her movement as she moved.

Ciara wore a figure-hugging latex Corinne Franco dress with her husband to the SAG Awards Russell Wilson. The corset hugged her shape, while the draping accentuated her hips. The singer upped the ante with matching pumps and voluminous curls that did their best to grab attention. The same can be said Yvonne Orji who attended the Tokyo James show during Milan Fashion Week with a contemporary remake of the iconic Grace Jones style. Her hairstyle, gold-trimmed sunglasses, oversized textured suit and gold shoes were an eclectic bundle of fun.

Danielle Brooks dressed in an unconventional Christian Siriano fit for the SAG Awards. A masterful blend of feminine and masculine elements, the ombré half-suit-half-tulle dress featured a thick, layered tutu inspired by her film The Color Purple. Pampering is good, especially on the red carpet.
