Digital Nomad Visa for Costa Rica
In 2022, the Costa Rican government unveiled a tailor-made visa program for digital nomads, allowing them to stay in the country for up to a year.
This visa has minimum requirements. Applicants must demonstrate a fixed monthly income of at least $3,000, while families must demonstrate an income of $4,000.
These are the other requirements and provisions for this visa:
- Valid passport.
- Travel insurance coverage for Costa Rica.
- Employment contract if applicable.
- Bank statement showing financial resources.
- Declaration form with details of dependents, if applicable.
- Health insurance with a minimum coverage of $50,000.
