The era of monolithic fashion is long gone. Now expression is taking the reins and diversity is driving most sartorial decisions. Every day, fashionable Naija stars are redefining style as we know it. Whether it’s attending a star-studded fashion show or running casual errands, the ladies hit the road on a mission to ‘turn the neck down’. Although they all take a different route, they all come to the crossroads where there is only talking.
Check out the cute looks spotted on fashionable Naija celebrities and style influencers…
#1. Temi Otedola
Soft pink shades are a feminine choice. It is difficult to say whether this is a psychological conclusion drawn from traditional color stereotyping, but the majority agree. Temi Otedola did justice to the hue at the Giambattista Valli show in a floral tweed set from the brand. The complementary part of this look was her side-swept flip-up pony hairstyle. She contrasted the soft tones with red lipstick and metallic sandals – IT girl status activated.
#2. Ini Edo
A combination of black and silver is always a spot-on look. If you have a torn black dress, try livening it up with silver additions. An example of this is this MedlinBoss coordination on Nollywood star, Ini Edo. The little black dress was heavily embellished with silver accents, boasted an exaggerated cape for dramatic effect, and styled with embellished pumps that showed solidarity.

#3. Nancy Isime
Velvet and bright colors are the best combination for a powerful statement. Actress Nancy Isime agrees with the theory. Proof of this approval was her velvet dress by Derin Fabikun that she wore to the Silverbird Man Of The Year Awards. The dress was completed with matching gloves and silver accessories for a touch of shine. If you choose to tone it down a bit, perhaps opt for subtle accessories to give the dress some much-needed attention.
#4. Diane Russet
Red represents courage and strength – the two things captured in this coordination. Ex-BB Naija housemate, Diane Redbrown, was a face in a navy blue pinstripe suit with red accents. She wore the structured Ann Cranberry dress with a red tie, matching bag and pumps. When in doubt, add strategic red accents to make things glamorous.

#5. Chika Ike
As florals have become increasingly popular in recent seasons, other prints have been forced to take a step back and see how it works. But not the classic stripes; they are always useful. Stylish Nigerian actress Chika Ike wore a bodycon dress with horizontal stripes, a midriff cutout and extra fabric on the sides that accentuated her curves. She paired this with D&G slippers and a maxi carrier bagresulting in a composite resort ensemble.

#6. Grace Eke
Lambo, as she is popularly known, made an all-denim outfit with her sexy look. The result was a resounding blast of heat. She wore a cropped denim jacket with a mini skirt and accessorized it with a denim handbag and stiletto boots. This week, consider a spicy denim-on-denim combo and show off.

#7. Eku Edewor
Consider wearing a midi dress with ruffles and drawstring details for a casual take on slay. Eku Edewor showed how it’s done as she gracefully wore an Andrea Iyamah mesh dress on the Gram. The simplicity is in both the shade and the silhouette, making it a far cry from the regular bodycon dress.
