Cavtat is located along a scenic coastline just 18 kilometers from Dubrovnik, one of the country’s most accessible hubs.

However, Cavtat is actually closer to the airport, making it an even more convenient getaway.

Away from the hustle and bustle, this beautiful city is a place to enjoy the simple pleasures of life à la Tuscany.

It’s not that Croatia doesn’t know how to party. We’ve all seen the superyachts…

It’s just that Cavtat isn’t the place to let loose. Rather, it’s the perfect escape to kick back and relax for a blissful vacation.

A five-star stay is of course not the only viable option. There are plenty of mid-range properties and charming villas, but who wouldn’t want to move up a notch at these prices?

It would be difficult to find a traveler going to Croatia without mentioning the beautiful blue waters in this region of the world.

There are also plenty of boat trips that offer even better views of the sea than you see from the coastline.

While the views never tire of looking at, the beaches are perhaps even more fun for swimming, snorkeling and even cliff jumping for the more daring adventurers.

Zal is the largest beach with calm waters perfect for taking a dip, but those looking for even more seclusion can opt for Sustjepan Beach, which is within walking distance of the city center.
