As usual, Domingo Rodríguez Lázar was inspired by Y2K nostalgia and the sports world for the Dominnico fall collection. He looked at apres ski style, reinventing ski suits into mini dresses and experimenting with other pieces designed for the snow, such as hats, vests and short fur coats, all in a palette of pink and lilac, with neutral shades of gray, black or beige.
“What is special about this collection is the interpretation and mixing of materials such as wool, upholstery and fur, all in one piece,” says the Spanish designer. “The color mix and tie-dye technique are also particularly impressive.” As the main materials, upcycled denim and recycled fur have been meticulously processed. “Our main challenge was to represent a generation and have the opportunity to bring to life materials that have already completed their cycle,” he added.
