lack of men redefining what it means to be stylish. They don’t just wear clothes; they use fashion as a canvas to express themselves, their creativity and their cultural influence. Whether they’re walking the red carpet or simply hitting the town, these black style icons are constantly pushing boundaries and setting new standards for elegance and sophistication. This week we celebrate some of these trendsetters and take a closer look at the offerings that stole the fashion scene last week.
The looks
Even though the NFL is in its offseason, some players are keeping their fashion game strong. Marchioness Goodwinthe Cleveland Browns wide receiver, turned out to be a brand loyalist who rocked a full head-to-toe outfit of his co-star Steffon Diggs’ label, Liem Homme. He opted for a comfortable yet stylish combination: a black ‘Taken’ hoodie and sweatpants paired with a playful ‘I Need A Hug’ T-shirt underneath. To complete the look, he wore paint-splattered sneakers, a white Goyard backpack and a classic black Liem Homme baseball hat.
On the red carpet, actor Brian Michael Smit brought a touch of drama to the Truth Awards. He wore a stunning black suit from Don Morphy, with a unique red ‘wrap design’ that added a touch of avant-garde flair. The crisp white shirt underneath provided a perfect base, while the pointed-toe boots added a touch of edge. Smith’s outfit showed that formal wear doesn’t have to be boring.
Taking the stage for a guest appearance, singer Fantastic delivered both vocally and sartorially. He went for a streetwise-meets-luxe vibe with a gray Kind of Famous sweatsuit layered under a rare, American-made horsehide bomber jacket from All-American Avirex. The green lace-up boots and matching green and yellow hat reflected the bomber’s colors, creating a cohesive and effortlessly cool look.
