The Costume Institute’s multi-sensory exhibition ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’ opens to the public on May 10 and takes nature as its main theme, focusing on three elements: earth, air and water. The exhibition, curated by Andrew Bolton, features objects dating from the 17th century to the present day. You may recognize some of them from following the fashion shows on Vogue Runway. We’ve rounded up these looks here to give you an idea of just some of the treasures that will be there to see at The Met through September 2, 2024.
