As she said Italian Rev, her ultimate goal is to combine her love of dancing with her acting career. “I originally trained as a dancer and was actually heading towards musical theatre; I love movies, and one day it might be an absolute dream to be able to do musical theater on film,” she said. You may have seen Dodd on screen before
Dodd may be an unfamiliar face to many of us, but she has been acting for a few years. She got her first role as Sophia Whores in 2018. That year, she also landed the lead role of Thea in Hulu’s Find me in Parisin which she played a ballet dancer.
More recently, Dodd has appeared in a series of impressive projects, including Chloé Zhao Eternals; Anatomy of a scandal, in which she played a young version of Sienna Miller’s character; And Enola houses 2.

Of course joining in Bridgerton family was a dream come true for Dodd. ‘It was all kept quite secret, so I had no idea it was real Bridgerton where I was going to go until the day of my meeting with the Shondaland team,” she told Dust. “They let me know right before, which was quite scary, but also good, because it meant I just had to go in, be there and respond to what they were asking. I never knew what I was doing before. I think it’s because this is such a big show, with a lot of secrecy around storylines and things like that. I love preparation, I love really going into that room and feeling like I know the character, and I’ve done everything I could do, so it was definitely a different way of working for me.” €
