The stars strutted around in trendy ensembles with a certain flair, making even the simplest looks exude a certain je ne sais quos. The sequins and glitter were also a class act, with other embellishments coming along for a hot sartorial ride.

However, the colors were simplistic, but the silhouettes dripped with finesse: a balanced fit for a royal reference.

Temi Otedola, L’Oréal’s newest African ambassador, told quite a story about elegance. At a reveal party in Jozi, South Africa, she was dressed from head to toe in a white Vicnate fit, elevated with an ‘it girl’ persona. Featuring a loose, sheer turtleneck top, tucked into a maxi skirt with pockets and finished with statement pearl earrings, the offering screamed bold. The luxurious outfit, married to her sleek hairstyle, is a classic rich aunt move.

For the minimalist girl who wants to push boundaries, this sequin and feather-embellished black Moneo dress is a worthy start. The hue and details dance to create a toned-down symphony, and the fit is good Kim Oprah’s frame was like a glove in the right hand. The exuberant Y2K trend is an age-appropriate statement style for anyone who wants to turn heads. From birthday parties to red carpet appointments, the glitter style is a sparkling hit. This season, designers sent black and silver down the catwalk. With seductive silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and prints, the two make an elegant pair. Nigerian designer Mimi Yina, popularly known as Medlin Boss, played with the shades with a dress that exuded sober elegance. She rounded out the conversation with an overstuffed, high-shine kimono, a red clutch and oversized crystal sunglasses. Trust Nigerian fashion seems to set the pace every season.

#4. Nancy Isime

The glitter, dazzle and razzle-dazzle continues. Actress Nancy Isime wore a Tolu Bally hand-beaded set to a bridal shower. She wore a silver bralette with sheer glitter pants and added even more pizzazz with a bling-out bag and dainty jewelry. This season’s shimmer and shine trend is a huge buzz as quiet luxury and minimalism seems to be the IT aesthetic. Still, there’s plenty of room for everyone to thrive, and the bold blings respond with plenty of presence on the fashion playground.

#5. Eku Edewor

Nigerian actress Eku Edewor was a sight in an oversized blazer from Pepper Row paired with a flowy dress for a weekend engagement. The boxy look was relaxed, but still impressive. Moreover, she gave it an extra dimension with a gold bag, which complemented the buttons on the blazer. The ease of the outfit resulted in a relaxed and stylish fit.

Season after season, wearing neutral colors remains the right choice. Fashion model Jemima Kefas-Oyeleke knows how to go for soft tones, and this beige look is further proof of that. Even in a season where shades tend to approach bright, neutrals are the no-brainer for sartorialists who serve as a canvas for limitless creativity. From the wide-leg jumpsuit to the classic black bag and the subtle face beat, the offering delivered fashion without trying too hard. This is the pictorial representation of “easy does it and does it so well.”

Finally, all black, but make it sharp. Ex-BBNaija housemate Liqueur played it like a rock star in a texturally contrasting black ensemble. Wearing a black sleeveless top, black leather shorts and matching thigh-high ruffled boots, the reality star made ‘hot’ a mission. While the urge to sprinkle in a different shade often comes, especially for the individual with colorful taste. Yet we’ve all been sucked in by the unproblematic appeal of all-black get-ups. TTake a break from the chic, colorful options and come hip and ready in a fit like this.
