Is there a destination more sought after by Americans right now than Cancun?
Of course not! For us it is the most popular international holiday destination in the world… by and large.
Lined with seemingly endless luxury beach resorts along crystal clear waters, it’s easy to see why Cancun has reached unfathomable heights.

Even though it’s extremely popular, don’t blame Cancun for the fact that airfares can be sky-high. It’s not their fault; Airlines know what they are doing.
Cancun is just too beautiful to pass up!
That being said, a new report from insiders at the Cancun sun revealed the best times to plan your next trip and the good news is you don’t have to rush to plan your sargassum-free vacation in Cancun.
Cancun is the perfect place for a late summer getaway
Cancun is one of the easiest destinations to reach across our borders and has a plethora of flight options from virtually every US airline, plus a handful of Mexican airlines.

Airline tickets can be quite pricey in the middle of summer, but not so much towards the end. If you can postpone a visit in July, then August will be one of your best bets for the ultimate savings in paradise.
According to Google flightsmajor airports such as DFW, ORD and FLL have nonstop flights to Cancun in mid-August for less than $250 round trip.
However, it’s not just about plane tickets. You can also score well on resorts, which is probably what you’re hoping for since Cancun is arguably the best all-inclusive beach resort destination in the world.
Here is an example size:
Weekend rates at the chic all-inclusive Wyndham Alltra Cancun resort are just $284 per night in August.

This same resort costs almost double the $400 threshold in January, a time when many Americans are desperate for a sunny vacation.

Although rates often increase around the holidays, you can find great deals in Cancun if you postpone your celebration.
But beware: the weather can be changeable at this time of year. You may not get as many sunny photos as you envision, but is there ever really a bad time to vacation in Cancun?

September can be seen as the end of summer or the beginning of autumn, drawing the line between the two seasons.
Any way you look at it, it’s one of the best times of year for holiday savings. For example the beach Westin Resort & Spa Cancun can be booked in September for $93, compared to double the rate in December and January.
The same goes for all-inclusive stays, such as Oleo Cancun Playa All-inclusive boutique resort as low as $81 in September, but shoots to the high $200s in January.
It’s never too early to plan a trip

It seemed like summer would never come, but here we are. Travelers flock from far and wide, with Cancun high on the wish list of many travelers.
While many of us are still putting the finishing touches to summer vacations, it’s never too early to start planning ahead.
October is a great time to visit Cancun when there are fewer crowds – the exact opposite of spring break.
The most expensive months to visit are from December to March, so why not fire up the heat and get in while you can?
Rates drop significantly during the month of October across the board, from boutique hotels to 5-star luxury resorts.

While choosing all-inclusive may seem more expensive at the time, think of it this way: the only extras you’ll spend are on souvenirs, as food, drinks, and often transportation are included.
One of the best deals to book in October is a stay in Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun All Inclusive for just $145 per night.
If you were to stay here later during the bitterly cold winter for many Americans, rates would increase to as much as $493 in January.
How’s that for savings?!
