Let’s take a look at the three different Hilton brands that will be adding to the Portuguese family in 2025 and 2026.

Double Tree by Hilton Lisbon Airport

Airport hotels are very popular with travelers because they are a convenient place to stay the first night after arriving in the country or even strategically positioned near the airport for an early morning flight.

This new Double Tree by Hilton will be conveniently located near Lisbon Airport, offering travelers easy access to Lisbon Airport.

The hotel is being designed to cater to both leisure and business guests. It will have a restaurant, bar, breakfast room and ample meeting space for conferences and events.

With 199 hotel rooms and 20 suites, the new hotel will open its doors next year and will of course provide guests with its signature chocolate cookies at check-in.

The Santo André Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will also open in Portugal next year.

It will be Hilton’s first hotel complex in the Santiago do Cacém region, located along the Atlantic coast south of Lisbon.

This boutique oceanfront hotel is created as an escape to Portugal’s authentic coastline.

It will have just 44 rooms, for a small resort style, a restaurant and bar, a gym and a rooftop pool with awe-inspiring views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Hilton’s relatively new Canopy brand is introducing a new hotel in Portugal that will open in 2026.

It will be located on the Algarve coast, west of Faro, in the town of Vilamoura.

The marina is one of the largest in the entire country of Portugal and the area is known for great restaurants and even nearby resort-style golf courses.

The resort-style hotel will have 155 rooms and provide guests with a restaurant, bar, spa, outdoor pool and fitness center.

It will also offer the popular Canopy Central amenity. This is what Hilton calls their central space for guests, day and night. From reception to retreat and with food and drink available all day, each flexible zone flows seamlessly into the next and adapts to guests’ needs throughout their stay.
