Each year, an army of explorers, photographers and editors carefully select a group of destinations that stand out for their cultural richness, natural beauty and conservation efforts.

Boise, Idaho – (USA)
Boisethe capital and largest city of Idaho, offers travelers a combination of adventure, culture and breathtaking scenery, making it a must-visit in 2025.

According to National Geographic, you should visit Boise next year for the highly anticipated return of Jaialdione of the largest celebrations of Basque culture in the world.
Originally from Spain’s Basque Country, the Basques arrived in this part of America in the late 1800s. During this festival, visitors have the opportunity to participate in street parties and traditional competitions such as wood chopping and cart lifting.
Los Angeles, California (USA)
National Geographic invites you to rediscover Los Angeles in 2025, thanks to its lesser-known charms, including historic neighborhoods with hidden art galleries, rooftop gardens with stunning skyline views and lively jazz bars.
This time the magazine is in the spotlight Destination Crenshawthe most important and largest black arts program in the United States, with works along a 1.3-mile stretch of Crenshaw Boulevard.

Next year the new Barbados Heritage District will be open to visitors. Designed by David Adjaye, known for creating significant memorial structures across the United States, this center is intended to honor the memory of hundreds of enslaved people who died in this area.
