Leading the charge is CKay, whose viral hit single “I love Nwantiti” has cemented his position as the best-selling Nigerian artist in the US. The song, which exploded on TikTok in 2021, has sold over 8 million copies, making it the most certified Nigerian song in the United States. South African music stars Musa Keys And Tyla have been named to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Class of 2024, in recognition of their significant milestones. Tyla achieved a platinum certification for her hit single “Water,” peaking at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the highest-charting African female solo artist.
