Nicki Minaj is being sued by a former tour employee who claims the rapper assaulted him during a backstage confrontation. In the complaint filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court: Brandon Garrett claims that Minaj, whose real name is Onika Marajpunched him in the face several times while he was working as a daily manager for her Pink Friday 2 tour. According to Garrett, the alleged altercation took place on April 21, 2024, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, after one of Minaj’s concerts. The lawsuit accuses the Grammy-nominated artist of assault, battery and “the intentional infliction of emotional distress.”
