I grew up in Texas myself, I have to say that a city with 26-job highways must also qualify, right?
Houston is the home of nearly 2.5 million inhabitants, according to the latest data, and is also one of the fastest growing cities.
Even with record-breaking tourist songs last year, you rarely hear from Houston as a go-to destination.
The truth is that Houston is a very diverse city with a lot to do, especially in the spring for the sultry summers. You can immerse yourself in numerous subcultures, ranging from exciting rodeos to all the pleasures of Chinatown.

Little Rock is the home of only a smidge of more than 200,000 people, so it is precisely the opposite of Houston. Little Rock has more a small city feeling along the picturesque Arkansas river.

That said, for better or worse, one of the trendy cities of the south again welcomes tourists, and solo travelers can benefit the most for various reasons.
