Although the great Louis Vuitton bag with prominent logos was hard to miss, that was not the first thing I noticed when I saw Gitanjali Arora walking past Ninth Avenue in Manhattan on a Sunday mid -January. The attacks and textures of her heavyweight pants and two -tone tweed jacket caught my attention.
Mrs Arora, 41, who works in financial technology, strolled with her husband after a brunch in Balthazar in Soho. She described her style as ‘eclectic and luxurious, with the emphasis on comfort’, and added that she liked her ensembles accessorize with pearls, scarves or brooches ‘for a touch of individuality’.
While talking about the outfit she wore when we met, Mrs. Arora said her pants was a “random find” in a small store in Paris. She also revealed a preference for a certain material. “I have a weakness for tweed,” she said. “So the jacket was love at first sight.”
