While certain cities in Florida are on the spring break, such as Miami, others completely embrace a mix of family vacations and annoying university mixtures.

Away from Miami, Destin and the cluster of paradisal cities around Tampa, there is an undermined city with beautiful beaches that somehow flies under the radar.
That would be none less than Jacksonville.
Believe it or not, Jacksonville welcomed 7.6 million travelers in 2024 – one New record For the most underrated vacation spot in Florida.

The Jacksonville football team is perhaps just as talented as Uncle Rico, but does not leave the disappointments on the Gridiron away from the top attractions of the city.

Although there are certainly no world -famous theme parks or little Havana here, the center of Jacksonville will surprise you with countless attractions to arouse your interest.
A good starting point is the riverwalk and offers a picturesque view of the lively skyline and flowing St. John’s River as mentioned earlier.
For beer lovers, the Jax Ale Trail Is a must to taste local brews, and it gets even better for art lovers.


If you can time well, make sure you have the First Wednesday Art Walk And Riverside Arts Market (held on Saturday), together with a handful of intriguing museums such as Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens and the even more popular Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (Moca Jacksonville), that is only $ 10 to introduce.

As you probably gathered, Jacksonville is a great way to experience a beach city in Florida that feels much more authentic without the hordes of tourists, although it will certainly become more popular.
