Utah has much more than the reality shows of Cringey and Ultra-Strict Hogescholen. Salt Lake City has even become one of the trendy cities of America and we all know that Zion National Park is one of the best in the nation for outdoor adventures.
But what about the state parks of Utah?

Last week we reported on the massive revision of Utah of a few earlier guys, in which we renew 4 state parks with new campsites and small houses.
However, another park does not need tweaks or upgrades, because it is even overtaken in terms of annual visitors.
That would be Sand Hollow State Parkan apparently hidden oasis with Caribbean Blue Water, Houses on the beach and a 4 -star resort.
Spring in Sand Hollow: Fun, Sun and Vivid Blue Waters

What is a better way to kick spring off than to touch beautiful landscapes and lively blue waters with 70 – 80 degrees days?
Full disclosure: Sand Hollow receives more than 1.5 million visitors, but a large proportion of visitors are here in the summer.
Spring sees a little cooler weather and fewer crowds, creating enough space on beaches (yes, Utah has beaches!), Swimming, kayaking, fishing and sailing.
Not to mention the fact that you have a greater chance of scoring the perfect campsite if you are here. And why wouldn’t it be?

Outside of St. George, a city of around 105,000 inhabitants, it is just enough tucked away to enjoy many nights with starling and roasting s’mores through the campfire (of course at the designated fire rings).
Despite the bare aesthetics, visitors may be surprised to see a stream of wild flowers, which gives the park even more visual attraction under the fiery red sandstone and paradisal waters.
Stay for a while: a 4-star Resort & Cottages on the beach
Sometimes state parks are at its best one-day trips or weekend trips, but Sand Hollow is one of the few who invite you to stay for a while.

Those who are rough, they have several camping options and there are also RV connections, but the most tempting accommodations are Sand Hollow’s beach houses and a 4-star resort with 3 golf courses.
Guests can book one of the two houses directly via Sand Hollow’s website.
These are the most striking cottage facilities:
- Sleeps up to 6
- Full RV connection included
- Kitchenette with modern devices
- Heating and A/C equipped
- Full bathroom
- Small patio and fire ring
- Pets allowed (Only ‘cottage 1’)

In terms of Sand Hollow ResortThis large resort is perhaps the best kept secret of Utah. Whether you want to touch the links, relax with an epic background of picturesque mountains, or let your adrenaline go through the dunes with an ATV ride, it is almost impossible to have a bad time.
Guests have unlimited access to the wonderful outdoor life with many activities to stay busy, but it also serves as a great place to relax.
Given how tempting it is to stay longer than a weekend, you could switch Sand Hollow and Zion off in a one -way trip, because this resort is only a 40 -minute drive away.

Booking a stay here is very honestly overwhelming because every accommodation has its own name, so you want to choose carefully to ensure that you book a ‘villa’ with 4 bedrooms instead of a suite with one bedroom or vice versa.
How to reach Sand Hollow State Park and the entrance fee
Given that Sand Hollow State Park is the most popular park in Utah, your first tendency will probably make you believe that you have to fly to Utah.
Smart chance, actually.

Salt Lake City is about 4 hours away as Provo is, but St. George has its own airport. The problem is that there are few flights here, so unless you fly directly from Phoenix, Denver or Los Angeles, is your best gamble to fly to “Sin City”.
Oh, the irony …
Las Vegas is just 2 hours from Sand Hollow, which ensures a relatively simple journey through the desert.
Once here, visitors have to pay a registration fee. Non-residents are charged $ 30 per vehicle And different costs have been requested for campsites, which can be viewed here.
