Mexico is famous for many things. They are ancient ruins, colonial architecture and delicious food immediately come to me.
But perhaps the most iconic Mexican attraction is of the nation Beautiful beaches.
The beaches of Mexico offer an incredible mix of white sand, idyllic Caribbean waters and bright pacific waves.
You can choose from remote beaches with nothing but seascape for kilometers or fully equipped beaches with bars, beach beds and everything else you need for a great day out.

So what is the best of the best?
Tripadvisor Has their travelers Choice Awards unveiled the best of the best beaches in Mexico, and these are the top five:
5. Playa El Chileno, Cabo San Lucas
Playa El Chileno, located in Cabo San Lucas, is in fifth place.
This is considered one of the most swimming beaches in Cabo San Lucas, which means that it attracts both families and water sports enthusiasts.
There is a diving shop on the beach, so if you want to try to dive or snorkel, you have everything you need at hand.

You will find a wonderful mix of locals and tourists here, creating a relaxed and restrained atmosphere.
This beach is flawlessly cleaned and the facilities are also well cared for. It is a great choice for a water -oriented day out.
Going to the beach is also simple. If you hire a car or take a taxi, the beach is a simple 15 -minute ride from the center of Cabo San Lucas. Via public transport you can take the Supercabos bus to the entrance to the beach.
4. PLAya El Cielo, Cozumel
Cozumel is famous for its beautiful beaches, but the one who really stands out for the crowd is Playa El Cielo.
Like all beaches on this list, Playa El Cielo is a spectacular, visually beautiful beach.
But what this beach really distinguishes from the crowd is what is underneath.

This is an incredible beach for snorkeling and the home of an abundance of marine life. Especially stingrays and starfish calls this area at home, but you can also find turtles here.
It is worth noting that the only way to come to El Cielo Beach is by boat. You can take a combined boat trip and snorkeling tour through the beach with El Cielo Snorkel Tours.
This Trips cost $ 69 per adult.
3. Balandra Beach, La Paz
Balandra Beach is a beautiful unique horseshoe – -shaped beach just outside La Paz on the Baja California Sur peninsula.
You will find here crystal clear, shallow water, so much that you can walk from one side of the bay to the other without swimming.

The shallow water makes it a great place to swim and snorkel, and the rocky landscape around the bay offers an incredible lookout point to appreciate the beauty of the wavy sand just below the water.
Balandra Beach is even so special and unique that because of its natural beauty and biodiversity, it is called a UNESCO world heritage site.
2. Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres
Playa Norte is the most important beach on Isla Mujeres, a small tropical island paradise just off the coast of Cancun.
This is a broad vastness of breathtakingly beautiful beach, considered one of the most visually amazing in Mexico.
The sand here has an unusual touch of pink because it is actually formed by ground coral. This pink tone is even more visible on the coastline when the sand is wet.

One of the things that makes Playa Norte so attractive is that the water is so superficial: even if you continue to wade, it will only reach your waist.
This makes it a great place for intergenerational holidays, because it is great to swim and for children to play.
Being to Playa Norte is also a piece of cake. Make a ferry to Isla Mujeres from Cancun with Ultramar, that costs $ 14.50 per adult.
1. Playa Delfines, Cancun
According to Tripadvisor, Playa Delfines is officially the best beach in Mexico. It is not the most famous beach in Cancun, but it is worth making the time to visit.
If you introduce a perfect beach, Playa Delfines is probably what you imagine. This is a free public beach that offers a great panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea.
It is even a rare free beach in the hotel zone between a sea of private hotel beaches.

The sand here is a lively, clear white and the water is a perfect turquoise blue. As an added bonus you will find here the gigantic iconic ‘Cancun’ board, an essential photo leak.
Coming here is also easy. You can jump in a taxi or if you have a tighter budget, then the R-1, R-2 or R-23-city buses will all go to the beach from the center of Cancun or the Hotelzone.
