Morro Bay: The little -known piece of paradise of the central coastJenner: edge-of-the-world BeautyFort Bragg: ‘Glass’ beaches and towering RedwoodsSubscribe to our latest messages

Because I already drove around San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles this spring, I couldn’t help it, but noticed that hundreds of license signs in Arizona invade our roads.

And that means one thing – the unofficial kick -off to the tourist season.

Woo. 😑

Lively green landscapes and blue waters from Morro Bay, California

Californians love where they live; I certainly don’t complain. But in the spring and summer, South California gets a new identity with thicker traffic, higher prices and much less space to throw a pig skin with the inflow of beach mensions.

The good news is that Socal is not the only piece of paradisal beaches that adorn the golden state, whether it is the locals as I want to escape from the madness or the usual holidaymakers looking for new kisses.

Here are 3 coastal cities with postcard beaches and no crowdsRanging from the less exploratory central coast to unexpected Norcal precious stones.

Morro Bay: The little -known piece of paradise of the central coast

One of the best kept secrets of California is San Luis Obispo, usually a pass-Thru city for road trippers who check the famous Pacific Coast Highway from their bucket list.

But SLO has slowly knocked more travelers radars with NAPA -Dupes such as Paso Robles and underrated beaches such as Morro Bay and Avila BeachRecently crowned the number one beach in America by HomeTogo.

Given the new hype of Avila, the place for wide open coasts and amazing backgrounds is less well -known Morro Bay.

Here you will find the indispensable Morro Rock that rises from the sea, possibly closest near the famous Pitons by St. Lucia, creating a real postcard-worthy photo-on.

This idyllic city is far away from the typical action -packed Californian beaches that you see in films. You know … bronzed lifeguards, dude-bro skateboarders everywhere and cheesy promenade attractions.

Although they fly under the radar, there are plenty of hotels on the beach to choose from. If you ask me, I would stay with the historic Bayfront Inn Overlooking the aforementioned Morro Rock and walkable to countless Oceanside eetings.

Jenner: edge-of-the-world Beauty

No, no, no. Not those “Jennners”. We leave them to TMZ.

This Jenner is one of the best preserved secret hiding places in the west coast that residents from San Francisco, San Jose, and the entire cluster of Silicon Valley cities with busy body like to visit for a quiet weekend in a brisconly paradise.

Practically next to the Santa Rosa of Wine Country (the easiest airport to gain access to Jenner), this beach outing sees some of the most beautiful natural attractions in California and somehow remained silent for regular travelers.

Looking for the perfect place to see the famous Redwoods of California without busy paths? Check out Land paths with old trees Near, with an almost perfect 4.9 Google rating.

But let’s really be – you are here because you want a paradisal beach for your next vacation. Jenner exceeds the goal and is actually known for two water bodies: the Pacific Ocean, of course, and the Russian river.

Unfortunate name? Certainly. But this river not only offers a nicer landscape, it also leads to its own beaches if you follow the winding stream to neighboring cities, such as Monte Rio.

Regarding the beaches of the Pacific, there is certainly no shortage. Visitors are enthusiastic about Jenner BeachWith a recent beach visitor who claims it is so cute and fun to visit. It must be one of my favorite beach areas’.

But perhaps the most robust and apparently untouched with remote bays, lies along the coast of Sonoma Coast State Park Just south of Jenner.

After a day with sun -drenched adventures, there are countless mom & pop rustic inns to charge and refuel, such as top rating River’s End Restaurant & Inn.

Fort Bragg: ‘Glass’ beaches and towering Redwoods

Fort Bragg houses one of the largest US army bases in the nation – that has long been the claim on fame.

But more travelers have to pronounce Fort Bragg for its natural wonders, including a beach that can easily glide over your screensaver.

Lacquer Is exactly as it sounds, except that you don’t have to worry about an er -visit after walking.

One of the most unique beaches in the west coast offers visitors Kaleidoscopic Zeeglas spread throughout the banks.

In fact, there are actually 3 ‘glasses’ beaches, but Glass Beach is the most popular to visit and has a well -maintained hiking trail for an elevated view of the ocean.

There are countless cozy houses by the sea to book or you can stay with a nice local favorite, Emerald Dolphin Inn & Mini Golf – What a combo!

An attraction that you should not miss is the historic scoop train, an age-old locomotive that carries passengers from the coast and deep in the Redwood country.

It was recently characterized by the New York Times As one of the most spectacular train rides in Noord -America.
