Cue LL Cool J.
A city ravinated by crime on the east coast makes a comeback. Not to travel + free time, but we have reported how underestimated this city is far before their April function.
But they are, after all, travel experts and have brought part of the last attraction of the city to the spotlight, with new hotels, innovative restaurants and an energetic shift in what was once considered one of America’s most dangerous cities.
I had the pleasure to visit Baltimore Back in the dark days of needing exploration with your head on a swivel.

Note how I said “pleasure” – it is really a great (and often wrongly proposed) city that other large east coast mastolizes in terms of culture, kitchen, beauty and history.
The only question mark of Baltimore has been safety. Like I said, the last time I had Baltimore, the crime figures fell enormously, and even more now.
Yesterday CBS News One of the safest months that Baltimore has seen in recent memory with a decrease of 31% in violent crime – an important reason why a new unmistakable buzz penetrates into the most populated city in Maryland.
Baltimore is safe and ready for business

Baltimore is one of those cities that drools real investors. Whether in “The Hood” or random historical staples that are slowly crumbling in the city center have changed ownership more often than the promises of a politician.
There was a time when even through the center of the center of Baltimore Dicey could be, especially if you were to come sunset, and that is what I was warned about years ago.
You know, the lifelong local who sees the obvious tourist and tells me that I have to go to X but not y and so on.
Although crime is always a fickle subject, there is no doubt that Baltimore is on the other side wire Image, such as travel + leisure, points out.

As soon as decay buildings are no longer house tower for rap videos, they have been given new life with trendy new restaurants and hotels.
Take one of the icons of Baltimore, for example. The more than age-old Latrobe building, which went from high-end apartments in its heyday to a more recent abandoned memory, now houses Hotel UlyssesA chic betical characteristics that collect praising reviews.
This is an example of many. On a smaller scale, forbidden neighborhoods are now being revived with renovated houses, openings in small companies and more programs to get the less fortunate of the street.
Do you have scratching? Baltimore is one of the best American foodie cities

Not everyone has a palate for seafood, but the usual care is not knowing where your choice of choice comes.
Well, there is no better place to relieve those worries, because the Chesapeake Bay is practically a fresh seafood buffet within reach.
The famous blue crabs from Baltimore are a must for every foodie. It is even safe to say that it is a way of life.
The locals get, wait, bad Without surrendering to different shellfish brews, especially steamed or as crab cookies (my favorite).

Although this has long been the claim of the city on the food scene, there are numerous daring new restaurants that elevated the culinary landscape of Baltimore.
These 6 innovative restaurants were emphasized by Travel + Leisure as the latest must-visitors:
- Small donna’s
- Faidley’s seafood
- Rooted rotiserry
- Tavern in Woodberry Kitchen
- Supports
- Sagamore Spirit Distillery
What is overlooked is Little Italy, perhaps the most overlooked neighborhood of the city as Baltimore is surprisingly cultural – not just a diehard -football city.

My go-to is Chi offelli’s restaurantA staple from the community since 1940 with homemade Italian favorites such as “Grandma’s Ravioli” and a salad that could put Olive garden out of operation.
Cheap summer stays and surprising attractions
If you are a good experienced traveler, you know for sure that the summer prices tend to spijken, but not so much in Baltimore.
Let’s compare with another Foodie city in the neighborhood, Philadelphia. A 4-star Marriott in the center of Philly is going for $ 209 this summer, while the same hotel goes for $ 113 in Baltimore. ((Marriott Inner Harbor))

The port of Baltimore is a great starting point for the city, with enough hiking trails and a lively promenade. It is a beautiful area. Kevin Spacey refused to leave so much!
Whether they are fascinating art museums like The American Visionary Art Museumthe best rated National Aquariumor hope to score the perfect selfie Graffiti AlleyThere is something for everyone.
Moreover, Baltimore also has a few off-the-wall attractions such as finding the tombstone of the Ouija board, yes, yes, like an Oujia board, or The Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum (Reservations required) to find out how the Baltimore Ravens got their name, or The Peale MuseumOne of the oldest museums in America.
