This summer Molton Brown gives your hair a reason to love the sea breeze. The British odor house has just added shampoo and conditioner to its Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel collection and offers something fresh for your hair care routine.
The scent brings fresh fig leaves, salty blue cypress, cool cardamom and a dash of marine air. It is clean and bracing, like a walk along the coastline, and now you can take that feeling to your everyday.
As part of being Buttons of comment Series, Molton Brown collaborated with senior perfumer Carla Chabert and the British poet Dr. John Cooper Clarke to explore the story behind the scent. Chabert, who built the scent ‘around the color blue’, describes it as a mix of cold, spicy tones and a sea breeze, refreshing and modern, with a small edge.
Dr. Clarke responded with a poem entitled À la Recherche du Temps fondu – It is a nod to Proust and a meditation about memory, the coast and the passage of time. “I always find something that saves the coast, both refreshing and somewhat soporific,” he says. “It’s great.”
The extensive collection now includes Eau de Parfum, Bath and Body Essentials, Home Scents and the new hair care. It is an easy way to bring a bit of that custody into your day.
