The good news is that research has identified several ingredients that support cellular energy pathways and help skin function more efficiently.

Teprenone is one of the most studied. It helps protect telomeres, which are the protective caps on your DNA that shorten with each cell division. Longer telomeres are linked to healthier, longer-functioning cells. Teprenon supports the lifespan of skin cells, so that they can continue to do their repair work longer.

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) is a direct precursor of NAD+. Your skin can use niacinamide to build more of the cellular fuel it needs. It also supports your barrier, reduces pigmentation and soothes swelling. It is one of the best supported multi-tasking ingredients in skin science.

Helianthus annuus (sunflower) sprout extract supports the skin’s natural protective defenses. Acetyl zingeronederived from ginger, helps neutralize free radicals and reduce the oxidative stress that drains cellular energy. Rosehip oil (rosa canina seed oil) provides essential fatty acids that support barrier function and help the skin retain moisture more efficiently.

Together, these ingredients work at the cellular level, not just on the surface. It’s not about instant smoothing. They’re about giving your skin the tools to repair and renew like it used to.
