Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding Revealed by Guests
Despite the tight-lipped approach of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce regarding their recent wedding, details have started to emerge from their guests. Niecy Nash, during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on July 23, spilled the beans about the couple’s nuptials that reportedly took place on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York, with over 1,000 guests in attendance.
Speaking to guest host Colman Domingo, Nash confirmed that guests had to sign NDAs, keeping the event under wraps. She expressed her excitement to finally share details, starting with the surprising choice of officiant for the ceremony.
“It was so good!” Nash exclaimed. “I’m sure you’ve heard that Adam Sandler officiated. I didn’t know what he was going to wear.”
Known for his casual style, Sandler opted for a slightly dressed-up look for the occasion. Nash commented, “For Adam, he looked decent.”
She went on to describe the reception, which featured a variety of activities and prizes for the guests. Nash mentioned, “When you get a ticket for the game you played, you put it in the bucket and figure out if you can win the prizes that they gave away at the end. So, that part was lovely.”
Nash and Kelce’s friendship blossomed during the filming of Kelce’s acting debut on Ryan Murphy’s FX series Grotesquerie in 2024. Nash even made an appearance on Kelce’s New Heights podcast with his brother Jason, where she humorously recounted incidents on set.
Despite the initial secrecy surrounding the wedding, Nash felt comfortable sharing details with the public eventually. “I don’t think I’m speaking out of school because y’all seen it all online now, right?” she mentioned. “But at the time, you had to zip the lip. So it was fun.”
