Exploring Microneedling with The Banisher: A Personal Experience
Dealing with acne can be a frustrating journey, especially when it leaves behind dark spots that take weeks to fade. As someone who has struggled with acne scars, I was intrigued by the idea of microneedling as a potential solution to even out my skin texture and fade those stubborn marks.
Recently, I delved into the world of at-home microneedling by trying out The Banisher 2.0. This tool, designed for microneedling, has gained popularity for its ability to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process and promote the growth of new cells.

So, what exactly is microneedling? It’s a skin care procedure that involves creating tiny punctures in the skin to trigger the body’s healing response. This process helps accelerate the skin’s natural cycle, resulting in improved texture, reduced fine lines, and faded acne scars.
Curious to see what microneedling could do for my skin, I decided to give The Banisher 2.0 a try. Priced at $69, this tool features 24K gold-plated titanium bristles and uses a pushing motion for a more even application pressure, reducing irritation.
As part of my microneedling routine, I incorporated The Banisher alongside Banish’s own skin care products. The routine included a cleanser, the Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, microneedling with The Banisher 2.0, Banish Oil, Fighter Gel, and Vitamin C Creme.

During the microneedling process, the sensation was likened to pushing velcro against the skin—prickly and slightly shocking at first, but not painful. After each treatment, my skin would appear slightly red and warm, but the discomfort was minimal.
For optimal results, microneedling should be done once a week and avoided on active acne or skin conditions. The Banisher, when used consistently, can help improve skin texture, reduce acne scars, and promote overall skin rejuvenation.

One standout product from Banish was the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, which made a noticeable difference in my skin after just one use. This mask, containing pumpkin enzymes and glycolic acid, helped exfoliate my skin, clear pores, and even out my skin tone.
After using The Banisher and Banish’s skin care products for four weeks, I noticed a visible improvement in my skin texture and a significant reduction in hyperpigmentation. While the tool wasn’t a miracle solution, it complemented my existing skin care routine and enhanced the healing process of my acne scars.
Overall, microneedling with The Banisher proved to be a valuable addition to my skincare regimen. Moving forward, I plan to continue the routine to maintain smooth, clear skin and accelerate the healing of acne scars.
