Tulum International Airport “Felipe Carrillo Puerto” is about to happen completed. Meanwhile, the airlines have confirmed the first routes that will connect to this air terminal have started selling the first tickets.

A few days ago, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that on the day of the inauguration he would fly from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport to the Tulum air terminal on a Sedena flight for the inaugural protocol, but he will not be the first to inaugurate the airport.

Both Aeroméxico and Vivaaerobus will begin operations at the airport terminal ahead of the president’s arrival.

Vivaaerobus will be the first airline to operate from this terminal under the TQO code. The first flight is scheduled for December 1, departing from Felipe Ángeles International Airport at 8 a.m. and arriving at Tulum International Airport at 11:15 a.m. The cost of this commercial flight is $909 (US52.87).

Meanwhile, Aeroméxico has its first flight the same day, departing Felipe Ángeles International Airport at 8:30 AM and arriving at Tulum International Airport at 11:30 AM for $3,985 pesos (US231.41).

International airlines that have announced flights to Tulum Airport

Delta Airlines has the distinction of being the first international airline to offer flights to the new Tulum International Airport (TQO). This month they announced the start of non-stop direct flights from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) starting March 28.
