Frontier has launched 8 new routes from the United States to the island paradise, meaning more American travelers than ever can enjoy all that Puerto Rico has to offer.

Destination Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is one of the most popular Caribbean destinations for American travelers.
And because Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, you can enjoy all the benefits of a Caribbean vacation without packing your passport.
Moreover, Puerto Rico does not have to be expensive thanks to a large number of new non-stop flight routes from ultra-low-cost airline Frontier.
Frontier has introduced eight new flight routes between the continental United States and San Juan Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in Puerto Rico.
To make all these new routes possible, Frontier has even established a new crew base in San Juan.
This also shows how committed the airline is to continuing to serve the Caribbean destination.
Frontier’s 8 new routes
The 8 new routes launched by Frontier are between San Juan and Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, Norfolk, Palm Beach, Fort Myers and 2 New York airports. This is JFK and Newark.
The route with the most flights will be Newark, with 11 flights per week. This route will be launched on June 27.
Twice-daily flights launched from New York JFK on June 6
On June 2, routes launched three times a week from Fort Myers, Norfolk, Boston and Palm Beach.
On June 1, four weekly flights launched from Fort Lauderdale, and a single weekly flight launched from Charlotte on the same date.
Frontier operates more flights to and from San Juan than any other airline. About 8% of the capacity is located in Puerto Rico.
By July, Frontier will serve as many as 26 destinations from San Juan, making the island more connected to the continental United States than ever before.

One of the unique highlights of a trip to Puerto Rico is a chance to explore its luminous bays. These glow a beautiful blue and you really have to see them to believe it.
There are only five bioluminescent bays in the entire world, and Puerto Rico is home to three, which is actually quite remarkable! If you only do one thing in Puerto Rico, visit one of these bays at night.
As an added bonus, visiting Puerto Rico is incredibly doable on a budget. Especially now that there are not many budget flights available to the island.
