Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of the Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spathe latest addition to its all-inclusive adult brand, Secrets Resorts & Spas. The launch reinforces Hyatt’s strategic expansion in Latin America and the Caribbean, following recent openings in St. Lucia, Aruba and the Dominican Republic.
The resort is located in Cancun’s prestigious Hotel Zone, just 13 kilometers from Cancun International Airport, between the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupté Lagoon. The property has 487 rooms and suitesincluding an upgrade Preferred club category with poolside suites, exclusive lounge access and a rooftop Sky Bar.
Dining is a central part of the experience at Secrets Mirabel eight themed restaurants showcasing French, Mediterranean, Asian and steakhouse cuisine. Guests can also enjoy six bars and loungesincluding a swim-up bar surrounded by the resort’s six pools.
In addition to its culinary offerings, the resort strives to create a deeper cultural connection through curated experiences. These include a agave tour exploring the history and production of premium tequila and mezcal, along with lessons focused on Mexican traditions and local heritage.

General manager Federico Echaiz highlighted the property’s exceptional location, describing it as an ideal setting for guests to “immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of the Yucatán.”
The resort also features wedding and event spaces and has implemented sustainability initiatives such as soap recycling programs and the use of locally sourced products. The Secrets Spawhich offers treatments inspired by Mayan wellness traditions, is expected to open at a later date.
