The city of La Paz, capital of the state of Baja California Sur, experienced an increase in crime in October. The city recorded four red lights for drug-related crimes, car theft, domestic violence and rape. In addition, it had three yellow lights for injuries, residential burglaries and commercial burglaries, indicating a notable increase in criminal activity in the capital over the same period.
