Last night, friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber had dinner together at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica (you may know it as Rihanna’s favorite restaurant), before meeting Gigi Hadid and going to The Bird Streets Club together. All three models perfected their stylish going-out outfits, but it was Kendall and Hailey who did Real match their appearance. The two stars chose the same summer shoe style, but styled it in two different ways.

Their party shoe of choice? A white sandal with straps and the smallest kitten heel. An ideal heel for a wonderful summer evening: sexy but not too high and can be combined with anything. Bieber paired hers — from Femme LA — with a vintage printed Versace mini dress and her favorite bag, an orange Bottega Veneta leather clutch. Jenner, meanwhile, went the longer maxi route with a color-block tank dress, finished with a discreet white clutch from The Row. Whether showing a little (or a lot) of bone, both approaches to the strappy kitten heel worked here; it’s a no-brainer evening shoe that’s worth investing in, not to mention it also seamlessly transports you into the fall months. (Imagine it with jeans and a cardigan.) And while you don’t to have to match with your best friend, who doesn’t love a quiet twinning moment?
