Celebrities are rarely shortchanged when one week offers both the kick-off to a major fashion capital’s menswear calendar and a series of high-profile film and television premieres. Last week turned out to be just such a party. As Milan Men’s Fashion Week set the street style agenda and winter releases rolled out across major fashion cities, men moved fluidly between catwalk-adjacent events and red carpets. Each appearance underlined a well-known truth: style thrives when culture, film and fashion intersect.

What made the week particularly compelling, however, was the collective faith in strong, intentional clothing. Across continents, stars leaned on sharp tailoring, rich textures and decisive, often monochrome color stories. Nothing felt coincidental. Instead, the looks formed a cohesive visual story without becoming repetitive, reminding us that when the calendar is full of moments worth dressing up for, personal style reigns supreme.

The looks

Jeremy Pope made an impression on the red carpet at the premiere of Ryan Murphys The beautyarrived in a striking Yves Saint Laurent ensemble that embraced bold, tonal glamour. His mustard gold tailored suit struck a precise balance between ease and structure, anchored by a relaxed single-breasted jacket whose folded cuffs revealed a subtle striped lining. Layered over a matching satin shirt and vest, the look took on a rich monochromatic depth, while a deep brown satin tie introduced just enough contrast to anchor the palette. Smoothly cut trousers elongated the silhouette and polished black shoes, paired with amber rectangular sunglasses, provided a retro-modern finish. All told, the look cemented Pope’s reputation for fearless, fashionable red carpet moments.

Meanwhile, in Milan, Colman Domingo offered a masterclass in classic tailoring at Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2026 menswear presentation. Deviating from the expected street style-theatrics of fashion week, he stepped out in a tonal olive brown Ralph Lauren look that blended old-world elegance with modern polish. Domingo wore a structured three-piece suit under a long, softly structured overcoat that fell effortlessly over his shoulders. A crisp white shirt and patterned silk tie in warm, earthy tones anchored the ensemble, while brown leather tassel loafers and matching socks enhanced the sophisticated palette. Finished with subtle accessories, including a wristwatch and sunglasses tucked into his vest, the look distilled Ralph Lauren’s menswear codes: timeless, confident and impeccably put together.

We end the week with an avant-garde flourish, Jaden Smith lived the W magazine x Louis Vuitton dinner in Los Angeles in a sharply tailored Louis Vuitton suit that combines classic formal wear with an experimental twist. The sculpted jacket, made from an intricately patterned fabric with metallic tones, accented with contrasting black velvet panels and sharp lapels, set a regal tone that carried through to the matching trousers. Meanwhile, a crisp white shirt and sleek black tie balanced the traditional look, while shiny black pointed-toe shoes refined the finish. Combined with its free form and controlled presence, the ensemble perfectly captured Smith’s ability to celebrate craftsmanship while continually pushing the boundaries of fashion.
