Pieter Mulier has been appointed Chief Creative Officer of Versace, the company announced on Thursday. This marks a major creative shift for the Italian fashion house led by the Prada Group. The Belgian designer will officially take on the role on July 1, 2026 and will report to the chairman of Versace Lorenzo Bertelli. Mulier comes from Alaïa, where he was appointed the brand’s first creative director after the death of the founder Azzedine Alaïa in 2017 and received widespread praise for reviving the legendary label with both critical and commercial success.

Mulier steps into a position that remained vacant after the short term of office Dario Vitalewhose departure came shortly after Prada Group completed its acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings. In a statement, Bertelli said Pieter Mulier was identified as the right choice during the takeover process, praising his ability to leverage Versace’s powerful legacy while unlocking its full potential. With extensive experience in collaboration Raf Simons at brands such as Jil Sander, Dior and Calvin Klein, and a proven track record of modernizing historic homes, Mulier is now tasked with leading Versace’s creative turnaround as the brand attempts to recover from declining sales and redefine its identity under new ownership.

Grace Eke, the first Big brother Naija housemate and entrepreneur, holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom. The reality TV star shared the milestone via TikTok on Wednesday, posting a video of herself dressed in her graduation gown and mortarboard with the caption “satisfying.” Eke had revealed that she had started the MBA program in March last year, describing it at the time as a step towards gaining new experiences, learning and professional advancement.

Eke gained fame after winning Big brother Naija in October 2019 and has since expanded her career into entertainment and business. She previously graduated from Imo State University in 2014 and made her acting debut in 2020 in The fate of Alakada, and later appeared in the hit Nollywood series Shanty town. In 2023 she returned to the BBNaija in the spotlight as a participant in the All-Stars edition and finished as first runner-up. Harris, who will serve as chairman emerita, said in a launch video that the headquarters will be a hub for updates, dialogue and engagement with elected officials, community leaders and young organizers. While she will have no editorial control over the content, the project will be led by advisors and staff from her 2024 campaign and People for the American Way, including senior advisors. Kirsten Allen and former deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty. The relaunch comes as Harris continues to tour in support of her best-selling memoir, 107 days, and speaking of systemic failures in the government, even as she says she has withdrawn from active politics for the time being, while leaving open the possibility of a future presidential candidate.

4. Bitcoin’s Month-long Decline Continues, Hitting a New 15-Month Low of $67,000

🚨WOW!! Bitcoin has fallen just below 67,000. Looks dangerous on the way to level 52000. absolute chaos#BTC #Crypto pic.twitter.com/yh5vDCOBVG

Bitcoin’s long sell-off deepened on Thursday, with the cryptocurrency falling another 11 percent to around $67,000, its lowest level in 15 months. The decline extends a steep decline from its October peak, when Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $126,210.50, meaning the digital asset has now lost about 46 percent of its value, according to data from Coinbase. After recovering for much of 2024 and early 2025 on expectations that the Trump administration would take a more favorable stance toward the crypto markets, investor sentiment has since cooled, fueling months of continued losses.

The downturn has spread across the broader crypto industry, dragging down companies closely tied to digital assets. Shares of Coinbase Global fell more than 9 percent, while Robinhood Markets fell more than 8 percent, and bitcoin miner Riot Platforms fell about 10 percent. Strategy, the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, fell 13 percent as the value of its more than 713,000 bitcoin holdings fell below the average purchase price. Other Trump-linked crypto ventures have also suffered sharp declines, underscoring the extent of the sell-off as confidence in the sector continues to erode.

5. Cristiano Ronaldo wants to end Saudi Pro League onslaught and take on Al-Ittihad in a major boost for title contenders Al-Nassr

BREAKING: Senior Saudi officials expect Cristiano Ronaldo to end Al-Nassr strike 🚨 pic.twitter.com/LBcfHTEF79

— Sky Sports (@SkySports) February 4, 2026

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to end his brief strike at Al-Nassr and return to action for Friday’s high-profile Saudi Pro League match against Al-Ittihad in a major boost for the title-chasing side. The Portuguese superstar missed the recent derby win over Al-Riyadh after reportedly becoming frustrated with what he sees as an imbalance in financial support between clubs in the competition. Despite Al-Nassr achieving a 1–0 victory without him, Ronaldo’s absence caused a lot of attention. Reports indicated that his dissatisfaction stemmed from transfer transactions between rival teams.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has since returned to training, with Saudi Pro League officials insisting he retains their full support and that no changes have been made to the league’s structure or investment model. Although Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy with Al-Nassr’s position against other PIF-backed clubs, league sources claim competition remains fair. They also note that Al-Nassr has already spent a lot of money this season. With the club eyeing a possible return to the top of the standings, Ronaldo’s expected comeback against Al-Ittihad could be decisive if Al-Nassr are to reignite the title race and restore focus on results on the pitch.
