Sometimes travelers San Diego only interpreted as a beach city, but it is actually one of the largest cities in the US and the second largest in California.
Although the traffic is not nearly as bad as La’s daily stagnation, San Diego is a bustling city that happens to have some of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast.
What holidaymakers may not realize is that many of these beaches mentioned are not in the city, but just to the north, mixed in a cluster of individual relaxed beach cities before a bare piece that enters Orange County.

One of these idyllic outings has a small village -like charm to go through local shops, galleries and eateries and at the same time having some of the best resorts on the beach throughout San Diego County.
The historic city of Del MarThe home base of exciting horse races, lively blue water beaches and celebrities that hide from the bright lights of Hollywood is the perfect piece of paradise to escape the city that gravel this winter.
Avoid San Diego sewage spuw
Controverse is brewing and sewerage spits. Those who need sun and sand will not be disappointed.

You can still hang out and relax on one of the beaches of San Diego, but those who like to take a dip in this side of Cali’s crystal clear water may not realize that there is an invisible bacterial danger that all swimmers and surfers must be on .
We all know that Mexico gets a bad rap in more than one way; Some are honest, others not.
As such, adjacent to Mexico with a series of frustrating problems. One is a consistent stream of untreated waste water that flows from the Tijuana river throughout the year to the Imperial Beach, the southernmost beach of San Diego.

Although this is certainly a damper for residents of the imperial beach, “IB”, as the local population says, is not a very popular tourist place, but Coronado is certain, so that many beach holidays are frustrated, including those in the world famous Hotel Del Coronado stay.
Here the Kicker – San Diego makes just as much contribution to beach closures as there have been several cases of water treatment accidents that pour insurmountable quantities of raw waste water to San Diego’s, which should be swimming waters, including La Jolla, demonstrably the most of San Diego beautiful Strandstad, as recently as last week.

Del Mar seems to be one of the few destinations that are not influenced by such problems, although there are no promises that Little Rufus will not leave on the Dog Beach …
Otherwise, expect open beaches in del Mar all year round just as beautiful as the apparently invented paradises that flash over your screensaver.
Del Mar’s pristine coasts will extend from the end of the famous La Jolla to Solana Beach and will not disappoint.
Del Mar’s Array from Ritzy Resorts

As a hiding place of celebrities, you expect a part of your salary to treat yourself to one of the many Ritzy Resorts and luxurious hotels of Del Mar.
Between the villas on the beach and hills there are a range of luxury stay to choose from.
The most conveniently located is L’Aurberge, Smack DAB in the city center and easy to walk to countless restaurants, bars, beautiful beaches and bluffside benches to take the beautiful view.
On the other side of Del Mar and immerse Torrey Pines in the global golf port of high-end stay, such as:
- Wave Crest Resort
- Hotel Indigo San Diego del Mar
- Best Western Premiere Hotel del Mar
- The lodge at Torrey Pines
- Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines

But my favorite stay at Del Mar is actually in the interior, just a 10 -minute drive from the coastline of Del Mar.
Fairmont Grand del Mar is a lush 5-star that is removed from the city males with only adults, only rooms, elegant rooms, elegant rooms, and a world-class spa, and a world-class spa, and a spa by Michelin.
What to do in Del Mar
Apart from honeymoon Letdowns, they say that big things come in small packages, and that is the case for Del Mar.
This picturesque, village -like city along the Pacific Ocean is a great place to make your basis, especially with the new alternative airports of San Diego in nearby Carlsbad in February.

The most popular attraction in Del Mar is the del Mar Fairgrounds, the home base of the Always Ham-Packed San Diego County Fair and thoroughbred club to place your bets on intense horse races and treat yourself to one of my favorite brunch spots, the Grass club (dressing instructions enforced).
The weather of del Mar is beautiful all year round, so I strongly recommend going through a walk Torrey Pines Beach Trail.
The views are epic, but make sure you take nature warnings seriously. I have been all 3 times, I came across snakes that slide over the path.
Unlike that, del Mar is always a perfect excuse for a beach day, regardless of where you are staying near San Diego, especially by jumping on board The roller coaster train.
